Given that we have the following departures:
Robertson - Not renewing his contract after the season ends.
Salah - Announced his resignation from the club.
And long term injuries to:
Hugo Ekitike - Achilles Tendon Rupture.
And members needing time to return to fitness from injury:
Conor Bradley
Giovanni Leoni
Wataru Endo
There have also been rumored reports of the following members departing:
Alisson - Rumored to leave for Juventus
Curtis Jones - Rumored to leave for Inter Milan
I think it is safe to say that we'll definitely need more strengthening in various departments. Most important being DM and LW since we didn't replace Fabinho (STILL haven't replaced him fully) and Luis Diaz. I do have a host of players we should go for.
GOALKEEPERS:
Zion Suzuki - Young goalkeeper from Parma.
Diogo Costa - From Porto, youngish at 26, with honors including 3 League Titles for Porto, 3 Primeira Liga GK of the year, And a UEFA Nations League with Portugal.
DEFENDERS:
CB Nico Schlotterbeck - Center Back from Dortmund and a 23-24 UCL Runner Up. Center Backs aren't really an issue right now with Leoni working back to fitness and Jacquet joining in the coming weeks. But if we do need a main CB should Konate leave, then Nico would be a good one.
CB Goncalo Inacio - Another CB target I've actually been eyeing on the last 3 years. Still good in Sporting CP, still elite, still young. His honors include 3 League Titles with Porto, and UEFA Nations League alongside aforementioend Diogo Costa.
Both Inacio and Schlotterbeck can also stand in as a Left Back if needed, which are great for utility.
RB Emil Holm - Right Back from Bologna. Recently won the Europa League with Atalanta. Given the fitness issues of Bradley and Frimpong, a new right back is definitely necessary.
MIDFIELDERS:
DM Adam Wharton / Elliot Anderson / Lamine Camara: Given the slump of Gravenberch, and the failure to properly replace Fabinho for the last 3 years, it's obvious a DM requirement is still on the table. Adam Wharton is probably the more "advanced" early stage right now, with contacts being shared. If cost is an issue, then Lamine Camara would be a cheaper alternative.
AM / LW / CF: Mateus Mane: With Wolves relegated, if there's one player deserving to stay in the PL, it's Mateus Mane. He will be useful as part of a rotation with Wirtz and in an event Szoboszlai plays right back. As an offensive minded player, he primarily plays attacking midfield. But he can also double as a left winger or a center forward. For an 18 year old playing in a struggling Wolves side, he's impressive. The other perk is that Mane also covers an English Homegrown slot.
FORWARDS:
RW / LW: Yan Diomande - Yan's a definitely a MUST get as a replacement for Salah. The teenager plays on both wings although most recently was deployed more as a right winger for RB Leipzig. With 22 GAs for the club this season alone, he has the potential to be one of the best new generation of wingers in the world.
LW: Malick Fofana - A Cheaper option for Barcola, another rumored target but the latter's not for me. Another LW to supplement for Rio Ngumoha without affecting his development.
