An Open Letter and Ultimatum to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) - 12 years, but what have we achieved? Absolutely Nothing.

We, the citizens of the republic of Singapore, have witnessed countless years of ups and downs for Singapore football. Our highs include winning of 2003-2004 AFF Championship, and the latest being our 2012's Suzuki Cup.

It's been 12 years since that very last major trophy win. What have achieved since then? Absolutely nothing. Everyone in the position of power in the Football Association of Singapore are as culpable for our recent beyond poor results yet none of the single member has taken responsibility and ownership.

As a lost fan of Singapore football, I think we have seen enough of our football getting our own sorry behinds kicked by countries that we kicked before.

7-0 drubbing by Malaysia in SEA Games 2023, 2 drubbings of 5-0 and 7-0 by South Korea in 2024. Last in our World Cup Qualifier Stages with only a single point.

As such, I think we local football fans who have gotten behind our boys have had enough and it has been 12 bloody years of agony for our Singapore Football. There has been no passion, no vision, no aggression. 

An Ultimatum is in order for the Football Association of Singapore and I put up a petition since last year. This has to be done now because I am not accepting anymore of this, I need major wins and trophies out of pure desperation now.

To do the right thing for the sake of saving our football, dissolve the Football association of Singapore. Have it helmed by people who actually know the sport. 

Enough is enough. Because if this continues to go on, we fans may have to resort in pursuing legal action as we don't want our sport to be put to ransom. Before you go, please open up all the void decks and more spaces to allow football to be played again. And whoever is playing football in Singapore shouldn't have to be bound by National Service either. It's the NS that also kills careers and screws up the playing momentum.

We need an all new direction. And the way that the current Football Association of Singapore is doing right now, it's gonna take past my current lifetime before we make it past the World Cup Qualifiers.

Football Association of Singapore, please stop heading Singapore Football. Please step down. It has been killing our football for the last 12 years with no improvement in sight.
